Employer Webinar: Talent and Skills Gaps

On Friday January 29th employers, policy partners, employers and industry bodies joined Youth Employment UK in the first of their Good Youth Employment Webinar series in a virtual discussion around the talent and skills gaps some employers and sectors are experiencing.

CEO Laura-Jane Rawlings was joined by Olly Newton, Executive Director at the Edge Foundation, an independent body leading research in skills, assessment and policy development. The Edge Foundation produces a termly Skills Bulletin report, the most recent report was launched in January and formed much of the basis of the conversation.

The Good Youth Employment Webinar series occurs on the last Friday of every month, each topic focussed on helping employers navigate the landscape, latest policy and initiatives to support their youth employment strategies.
