What does good work experience look like?

Our Youth Ambassador’s are currently working on a project exploring what good work experience looks like. We have insight and data from our Youth Voice Census but we are keen to hear from as many young voices as possible on what they think good work experience looks like.

Whether you have been offered work experience or not, or whether you were placed in your dream job or something you know you wouldn’t like to do we want to hear from you!

How do I get involved?

We are asking this question – “What does good work experience look like?”

We would love for you to answer this question with a short video, blog or quote.

You response needs to be submitted to: info@youthemployment.org.uk by 18th November. Please submit videos with this permission form to ensure you can ask for the footage to be removed at any point in time.

Our preference would be having these interviews on video but we can also accept audio and written submissions too.

Recording tips:

  1. Always record landscape
  2. Try and avoid loud background noise
  3. Keep the camera rolling before and after the interview because adding in some informal / preparation stuff can make a video more appealing

We will be sharing your responses online and with our network.
