Virtual Work Experience – a Week at Spotify | Youth Friendly West Midlands

Is working at a place like Spotify your dream job? Good news – you have until 15th January 2021 to apply for virtual work experience at Spotify! This opportunity was brought to our attention by the good folk at Youth Friendly West Midlands but you can live anywhere in the UK to apply.

This is an exciting opportunity to experience life in a leading music/technology company.

Students can get an insight into several different teams across the Ad Sales Business during a five day programme at Spotify’s Virtual ‘Office’.

The placements will involve:

  • Working on a live brief
  • 101 to advertising on SpotifyBLK London @ Spotify
  • Seeing how audiences are changing on the platform
  • How to use data on Spotify
  • How to be creative on Spotify
  • Self service on Spotify
  • Podcasts on Spotify

The days will be planned between 10:00am and 15:00pm 15-19th February 2021.

Before applying:

If you’ve not had previous work experience, or you don’t have access to other opportunities (e.g. through your parents), or you qualify for FSM or Pupil Premium, you are ESPECIALLY encouraged to apply. Spotify would love to hear from you.

You’ll need to be able to attend the virtual classes 10:00am and 15:00pm during the work experience.

Please note this is a virtual placement and students will not be required to attend an office. Students will need access to a laptop or tablet and an internet connection to attend the virtual placement.
