If you are a young person under 18 who is looking for some extra support due to COVID-19, see how you can get in touch with the new See, Hear, Respond service.
What is See, Hear, Respond?
The See, Hear, Respond Partnership has been created specifically to help children and young people in England who are experiencing harm and increased dificulties during coronavirus, by providing support to those who are not being seen by schools or other key agencies. They will support children from pre-birth up to 18 years of age and those with special educational needs under the age of 25.
How can See, Hear, Respond help you?
They can usually help if:
- you are under the age of 18,
- you have a special educational need and are under the age of 25,
- you are not already supported by social services in England,
- you care for anyone described above, or
- if you are expecting children.
They won’t judge you or blame you, whatever you are going through.
You can call them for free on 0800 157 7015 to speak to a friendly person in their team, and they will help you figure things out.
Their support is free, and they can talk about what kind of support works for you.
