Following a year long project by the Children’s Commissioner for England the Growing Up North report puts children at the heart of discussions about Northern regeneration.
The Growing Up North Report set out to:
Look at the progression of children from early years to early adulthood across different regions
Increase our understanding of children attitudes, aspirations and expectations and how these relate to locality
Assess the opportunities available to young people between and within different regions
Make clear recommendations to local, regional and and national government
