National Citizen Service – Summer Programme 2019

NCS summer programme

Summer is the time to kick back and try something different – and National Citizen Service (NCS) is the perfect way to do it.

In 3-4 weeks achieve more than you ever imagined – all for only £50.

Get out of the classroom and into the great outdoors. Build Young Professional skills that will set you up for life – teamwork, problem solving, communication, self management and self belief. Discover talents you never knew you had. Make new friends. And you might even change the world for the better!

The NCS Summer Programme’s 4 phases:

#1 Adventure

Enjoy five days away from home in the great outdoors. Take on team challenges with loads of support including rock climbing, canoeing and archery!

#2 Discovery

In the second week, you’ll get to develop YOU. Living independently, you’ll learn essential life skills from local business leaders and charities, gain confidence in public speaking, communications skills and budgeting. It all looks great on your CV, whatever you do next.

#3 Social Action

Ready to change the world? Back at home, you and your team will create a community project for an issue you feel passionate about. This is your chance to make a difference. You have the skills, the passion and the team mates to make it happen.

#4 Celebration

All your new experiences and progress deserve a celebration! Come together to rock your triumphs with other NCSers at one amazing social event.

And that’s just the beginning. The NCS After Programme helps you continue your journey and reach new heights of YOU!
