Money for life – free savings app turns pennies into pounds

Money for life pennies to pounds app

Download UK Youth’s free Pennies to Pounds savings app by 19th October 2018 for your chance to win £250.

How does the Pennies to Pounds App help you save?

Need some help saving for that new job interview outfit or first car? It’s hard to make space to save money for special things you want when you’ve got daily issues like rent, bills, travel and lunch money adding up.

Download app:

Available on App Store     Available on Google Play

If you’re aged 16-25, the free Pennies to Pounds app from UK Youth and Money for Life has been created to help you save for the things in life you really want, big or small.

Use the app to save up for anything – like a new job interview outfit, evening course or festival trip with your friends – while staying on top of your everyday spending.

How it works:

  • Create personalised savings goals. New trainers? A car? It’s up to you.
  • Add or remove money from your savings pot, using simple in-app hints and tips that will help you look at saving your money in a fresh new way.
  • Track your progress to see how close you are to your goal.
  • Upload images to inspire yourself to keep saving for that dress/car/holiday/guitar/whatever.
  • Share your savings goals and tips with friends and family to make yourself accountable. After all, you’re more likely to get something done if you first tell everyone you plan to do it.

How to win £250?

The rules are quite simple and the competition is open to anyone who is 16-25 years old, lives in the UK and follows @moneyforlifeuk on Twitter or Facebook. You have to:

  1. Download the free Pennies to Pounds app
  2. Create a savings goal
  3. Send @moneyforlife a screenshot of your goal, tagging them and a friend in the image

And that’s it! If you’re lucky enough to win, that £250 could be a sweet treat on top of your savings!

Winners will be announced on 22nd October 2018. Good luck…
