The Prince’s Trust specialises in supporting young people who face barriers to get into employment.
Our Kickstart support package includes webinars, workshops and 121s that are designed to support young people to make the most of their Kickstart placement, develop new skills and confidence, and break the cycle of long-term unemployment.
Designed to complement the on-the-job and sector specific skills that employers will develop with the Kickstarters, support from The Trust consists of a youth focused series of workshops and aspirational webinars, plus a pastoral support to enable a supportive environment.
Our workshops, webinars and 121s take place across the Kickstart journey – from interview skills to help the young person put their best self forward and secure a placements, right the way through to celebrating the end of their placement and thinking about their next steps.
Bringing together pre-employability skills, inspirational content, employability skills development, and underpinned by the Trust’s expert youth workers, our support is designed to have maximum social mobility impact and help the young people most at risk of being left behind during this youth employment crisis.
