IGD’s Summer Programme helps you boost skills, gain experience and pitch ideas in the world of food!

IGD’s Summer Programme includes employability skills training, interactions with professionals and project challenges, helping you to gain work experience in the food and grocery industry.

The food and grocery industry is growing, with jobs to suit everyone. Our fast-paced and diverse industry, has opportunities for all qualification levels, including in-demand STEM skills within Science, Technology, Engineering and Analytics.

Join our virtual work experience programme this summer and boost your skills. This is an incredible chance to meet with industry professionals. Hear their stories, ask their advice and pitch them your ideas!

The interactive livestreams featuring guest speakers, take place throughout the week.

Everyone joins Monday and Friday morning sessions. Then, choose a Masterclass that interests you on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.

Participants will:

  • Hear speakers from big brands and retailers
  • Take on a project with guidance from industry insiders
  • Get personalised feedback, develop your skills and add to your CV.
