The Heathland School are inviting in all employers, apprenticeship providers, colleges and universities to attend our annual World of Work day. Our event is aimed at year 9 students who are just about to choose their GCSE options. Our event is aimed at year 9 students who are just about to choose their GCSE options. Essentially, the day is set out to inspire our students about the many different career opportunities that are available to them and show them that there are many different routes available. Guests will be able to share their wisdom and experience of their sector with year 9 students and provide insight into their daily working lives. We want our students to make the most informed decisions when it comes to their futures and believe speaking to employers will aid this decision making.
