Room for Young People Awards:
On 16th April we will be recognising the invaluable contribution and achievement of young people across the Hosuing sector. We have a number of awards that those you are working with can be nominated for to recognise and celebrate young people who are making a difference.
We also have a staff award to recognise any inspiring staff who have worked to improve the lives of the young peoplee they support.

The Awards:
Environmental Champion Award – recognises young people who have dedicated their time and passion to help protect the environment
Intergenerational Champion Award – recognises young people who have dedicated their time and passion to help promote greater understanding and respect between different generations
Community Action Champion Award – recognises young people who have dedicated their time and passion to make a positive contribution to their community such as leading a social action project, campaigning or volunteering for a community cause.
Youth Enterprise Award – recognises young people who have harnessed their skills and talents to help set up or run an enterprise.
Youth Arts Award – recognises young people who are passionate about the arts (whether sculpture, theatre, dance, music or photography etc) and have made a difference to their community by sharing their skills or creations.
Young Ambassadors Award – recognises young people in ambassador roles for their Housing Association or service, who have volunteered their time to help and inspire others.
The Breakthrough Award – recognises young people who have overcome barriers to make progress in their lives, developing skills and talents.
Inspiring Staff Award – recognises staff who have worked tirelessly on leading new and creative services which have had an outstanding impact on young people’s lives.
