National Apprenticeship Week 2020

National Apprenticeship Week 2020 will bring together employers and apprentices from across England to celebrate the success of apprenticeships over the last decade and will seek to encourage even more people to choose apprenticeships as a fast-track to a great career. It will aim to involve more individuals, employers, partners and providers than ever before in activities that highlight the benefits apprenticeships bring to employers and the opportunities apprenticeships present to individuals. Heathrow Jobs and Careers Fair 2020

This annual event aims to inspire local people and invest in the local communities of Ealing, Hillingdon, Hounslow, Slough and Spelthorne. It showcases some of the hundreds of companies that operate in Heathrow and helps visitors gain a real understanding of the thousands of different skills and roles available. Employers will be on hand to share their insights on career progression, opportunities and answer any questions. Young people can also meet apprentices to learn more.

Scottish Apprenticeship Week 2018

Skills Development Scotland is hosting Scottish Apprenticeship Week to show how modern apprenticeships and foundation apprenticeships are changing the world of work. The Big Bang Fair 2020

Calling all young scientists and engineers… The Big Bang Fair is the UK’s largest celebration of science, technology and maths for young people. Enjoy a day of amazing hands-on workshops and activities. Led by Engineering UK, The Big Bang Fair is a free event that gets school groups and families excited about science and maths. A series of activities are run throughout the show in the Careers Cabin, inspiring students and young people to see themselves as the scientists and engineers of the future. These include ‘Meet the Future You’ careers networking sessions with STEM professionals. There’s also a fun online careers challenge to help a young person consider their key interests.
