Develop win Gold Talent Match Mark

We welcome Develop as our newest Gold Talent Match Mark Award winner. This Award celebrates the commitment that Develop make to offering explore, experience and employment opportunities to young people. These opportunities reach over 6,000 young people annually in the East of England.

Develop is delighted to be acknowledged for the “Gold Talent Match Mark Award” which recognises the commitment from local employers who support and inspire our learners, without their continued involvement many young people would not have the opportunity to experience the real world of work.

“I am delighted to be awarding Develop the Gold Talent Match Mark. As an organisation working in the education to employment space they are committed to supporting quality opportunities for all young people. On top of their own work as an employer they are also championing other employers to apply for the Talent Match Mark which really is something special”. Laura-Jane Rawlings, CEO, Youth Employment UK

The Talent Match is a national kitemark recognising and celebrating employers that support young people throughout their journey to work. Available at Bronze, Silver, Gold free of charge, with an accredited assessment available at Platinum Level.

The work that goes in to delivering these high quality programmes should be championed and recognised. Not only do young people engaging with employers benefit but employers themselves see a real return on investment when they engage with young people through schools, activities, work experience and employment

More on the Talent Match Mark:

The Talent Match Mark was launched by Talent Match and Youth Employment UK in 2017, with funding from the Big Lottery Fund. The Mark draws on the principles of youth friendly employment created in 2012 by Youth Employment UK and uses the learning from the 21 Talent Match regions. The Talent Match Mark is underpinned by a comprehensive framework which has been externally assessed by Goldsmith University of London.
