One of our brilliant organisational members is doing some research on the effectiveness of coaching young people who are unemployed. Â He is looking to expand this research and want to work with 3 or 4 young people on a pro-bono basis.
“I have first-hand experience of the power and benefits of coaching, having coached many young people over the last two years. I believe that it can have a significant impact in helping the young unemployed to move into employment or certainly closer to it. Presently my evidence is purely anecdotal and I plan to undertake research to produce the empirical evidence to support my belief. I am seeking 3 to 4 young (16 to 24) unemployed people to whom I will provide 6 one hour telephone or Skype coaching sessions and an initial intake session on a pro-bono basis.
