Apprentice Engineer

As an Apprentice, you earn a wage while you work and gain a qualification at the same time. Apprentice Engineers work alongside experienced engineers to learn the ropes until they have all the skills to work independently.At Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, Apprentice Engineers help to maintain the machines, repair them when they break down, and ensure that production lines are running smoothly.

Apprentice Engineer Jennifer says, “I completed an HND in Fitness, Health and Exercise but then I found once I was qualified that I struggled to get a job in this industry. I then decided to look at Apprenticeships in Engineering as I was brought up repairing vehicles as a hobby and I still had a keen interest in it.” She has been at Coca-Cola Europacific Partners for around one and a half years.

The starting salary for an Apprentice Engineer is around £14,500.

Engineering Maintenance Technician

Engineering Maintenance Technician Jordan started with CCEP at the age of 19 and stayed on after completing his apprenticeship. He says, “If you have an interest in problem solving, engineering is for you! It can be a fantastic job with great rewards.”

An Engineering Maintenance Technician is responsible for planning and carrying out maintenance on the production line machines. Their job is to ensure everything runs smoothly and that there is as little downtime as possible. It’s a great role for people who are practical and hands-on, pay close attention to detail, and enjoy fixing things.

A fully qualified Engineering Maintenance Technician at CCEP earns around £40,000 per year.

Commercial Development Apprentice

Commercial Development Apprentices at CCEP work with the Marketing team to promote and grow the Coca-Cola brand. They work on projects at all levels, from digital marketing campaigns up to large-scale physical displays such as the famous Coca-Cola Christmas Truck. It’s a dream role for anyone who wants to get started in a marketing career by working for a world famous brand.

Commercial Development Apprentice Joe has been in his role for around 18 months. He has had the opportunity to work alongside the Brand Managers for household name products like Diet Coke and Coke Zero, and eventually progressed to working on his own projects within the Wholesale & Convenience Environment team. He says, “I have been able to gain so much experience and make connections with so many stakeholders across the business.”

A Commercial Development Apprentice starts on a salary of around £15,500.

Field Sales Representative

Field sales, also known as outside sales, is all about visiting customers to sell products to them and manage relationships with them in person. If you’re a talented salesperson who is outgoing, loves people, and has fantastic communication skills, you might find a rewarding career as a field sales representative.

Field Sales Representative Millicent looks after around 260 accounts, maintaining relationships with those customers and developing business opportunities. She started with CCEP as an Apprentice and would like to be working within the National Accounts Team in the next five years.

A CCEP Field Sales Representative earns around £25,500 per year.

Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Apprentice

Do you want to work in an environment where no two days are the same? If so, becoming a Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Apprentice could be a great option for you. You’ll work on the production line and in the warehouses, maintaining and repairing equipment and responding to problems to ensure that products get to their destinations on time.

A good Electrical Maintenance Engineer is clear-headed, remains calm in a crisis, and can make quick decisions in high pressure situations. They are also highly practical people who aren’t afraid to get hands-on to solve a problem.

Electrical Maintenance Engineer Tobias started with CCEP as an Apprentice in 2014. He says, “When I was younger, I was always curious of how household appliances were made and operated and this began my interest. As a result I felt that gaining engineering experience with one of the largest brands in the world, working with cutting edge technology and earning a fantastic salary was the right choice for me.”

A fully qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer can earn around £47,500.
