3aaa announce corporate sponsorship agreement with YEUK

– 13th April 2015

An Ofsted Outstanding National Training Provider is delighted to announce a corporate sponsorship agreement with YEUK.

Youth Employment UK CIC (YEUK) is a membership organisation representing more than 10,000 young people, employers, youth organisations and educators. YEUK’s core mission is to reduce youth unemployment and make the UK youth friendly. 3aaa is also passionate about giving young people life changing opportunities through employment and work with both local and national employers, placing around 100 young people into work every week.

The corporate sponsorship highlights 3aaa’s continued investment in supporting youth employment; connecting young people with employers and raising the awareness of Apprenticeships across Schools and the community. Our aim is to support YEUK to raise the profile of youth employment. Through our network of employers we pledge to promote the youth friendly charter and support YEUK in tackling the issues around youth unemployment.

Andy Palmer, Managing Director, comments ‘We’re really pleased to be sponsoring Youth Employment UK and supporting the organisation in their really important work to reduce youth unemployment in the UK.  Through our network of more than 32 Academies spread throughout England we are constantly working with around 600 employers and 2,000 young people to promote the benefits of Apprenticeships and Traineeships.  By working with YE UK we hope that we can increase the number of employers who see young people having an important role in the growth of their businesses and get more young people making informed decisions about their futures and the opportunities open to them’.

“We are delighted that 3aaa have committed their support to YEUK.  Youth unemployment is still a major issue in the UK and we have been working hard to bring young people and those organisations who are youth friendly together.  Our policy work, campaigning and support for organisations and young people is having a positive impact on the landscape, but there is still much more to be done.  Having the support of 3aaa who are so invested in young people and the quality of opportunities for young people will be fantastic.” Laura-Jane Rawlings CEO Youth Employment UK CIC

About 3aaa

3aaa is an outstanding training provider of Apprenticeships in England, specialising in the delivery of Professional Services Apprenticeships such as Technology, Accountancy, Digital Marketing, Financial Services, Business Administration and Technical Sales. We are a national company offering a personalised, local service in over 30 locations across England as we look to change the lives of young people through our work with local employers recruiting apprentices and helping these young people to find a pathway into the career of their dreams.

As a business, 3aaa have recently been awarded Grade 1 Outstanding across all areas during a recent inspection by Ofsted – the official Government body for inspecting education and training organisations.   By achieving Grade 1s for every category in the inspection, this makes us the only independent training provider to achieve Ofsted Grade 1 Outstanding in all areas on a first inspection.

We work closely with young people and offer them life changing opportunities and support so that they can start a prosperous career within their chosen sector. Our Ofsted report stated that our “Apprentices benefit from highly interesting and motivational training in superb educational environments, equipped with industry standards and networks”.  They also commented that our trainers and assessors are inspirational.

Founded by Peter Marples and Di McEvoy – Robinson in 2008, 3aaa places a huge emphasis on employing high-quality, industry-experienced staff which means that we are able to deliver market leading Apprenticeship programmes that are developed with a focus on providing industry led skills and experience.

Our dedicated Recruitment Executives work closely with our partnering employers to understand the requirements of their business and help them to select the best possible candidate to suit their needs. This is part of a free ‘match and fill’ recruitment service that we offer our partner employers.  Ofsted also recognised that our Apprentices are highly valued by employers and very quickly progress to play pivotal roles in helping to transform businesses across the country.

About YEUK

Youth Employment UK CIC (YEUK) was founded in 2011 when the number of young people NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training) exceeded 1 million.  Young people and those organisations who support them such as employers, training providers, educators and youth organisations needed the support of an organisation that would represent the views of the stakeholders in the youth employment space.   YEUK now represents more than 10,000 young people and organisations.

As an umbrella organisation YEUK is able to lobby and campaign on the issues that cause barriers to reducing youth unemployment and provide a space for networking, sharing and best practice.

In 2012 YEUK launched the national Youth Friendly Badge an award that recognises those organisations who are committed to supporting young people.  The Youth Friendly Badge and YEUK itself is built on a core set of principals which includes:

  • Youth Voice
  • Creating Opportunity
  • Recognising Talent
  • Fair Employment
  • Developing People

A core part of YEUK is the work it does with and for young people, YEUK has a volunteer youth ambassador network that spans the UK.  The YEUK ambassadors are young people who want to support the work of YEUK and be part of the youth unemployment solution.  The ambassadors represent YEUK across the UK at conferences, events, in education and write for the YEUK website, the ambassador network are instrumental in the development and success of YEUK.
